Glorious Greenwich - sparkling celebrations for Jewellery Week
7 - 16 June 2013

Greenwich, with its vibrant atmosphere and commitment to showcasing designer makers, celebrates Jewellery Week 2013 with an exciting programme of events to inspire and delight visitors to Greenwich.

A Gem of a Shop Estate owners Greenwich Hospital sponsor, for the second year running, a win a pop up shop competition for three winning designer maker jewellers to share a Greenwich shop in June 2013 and experience retail first hand. Applicants will be invited to send in pictures of their work and a brief description of how they would merchandise their space. All entries will be judged by a panel including Johnny Rocket, Greenwich Jeweller, and Sophia & Matt, Greenwich based designers who have moved from stall holders to shopkeepers.

A Facet of Jewellers 
Saturday 15 June
Greenwich Market showcases a collection of some 30 independent designer maker jewellers, some of the best to be found in London and the South, with a smattering of vintage beauties and accessory designers as part of the busy Saturday Greenwich Market. 

The Greenwich Treasure Trail
7 - 16 June
Visitors to Greenwich will be invited to follow a glittering Treasure Trail through Greenwich, solving clues from the past through to the modern day, and be in for a chance to win a truly priceless prize.

Beadoir, the Greenwich based bead and jewellery accessory shop, is inviting the under 12's to be part of Jewellery Week 2013 too. Design and draw an item of jewellery and hand it in at the shop or post to Beadoir, 12b Greenwich Church Street, Turnpin Lane, Greenwich SE10 9JA. The winning design will be made for the winner to keep and runner up prizes will include Jewellery making kits. Winners will be announced at the end of Jewellery Week.
